Pace Fall 2014 ABSN

Hi There,

I've applied for the ABSN program at Pace for Fall 2014 and recently was notified that I needed to attend an interview. Does anyone have any insight as to what to expect at the interview? Anyone else applying for Fall? Any current or past students available to offer insight on the program? Also, is admission determined on rolling basis?

All nursing schools have this clinical math test including NYU. We need a 90% to pass and a 95% in the last two? Semesters I believe.

Oh wow. And what happens if somone gets below a 90? Then no clinicals?

Yes, you can't go forward and finish the program because you'd have to wait another year to take the class

It's really just basic math. If math isn't an issue for you, the tests shouldn't be a problem.

Suffolk county. I hope the commute isn't too terrible. I took the lirr for my interview but then I walked and took cabs once I got to penn. I have to get used to the subway.

They give you time to study for these math tests which is good.

I'm not a strong math student. I get really really nervous.

I sent my deposit it but I haven't heard about financial aid. I just picked my advisement appt. I got an email from Tiffany. Hopefully they will answer a lot of questions there.
