Hey guys! It's been a while since we received updates here. Any updates on your decisions for those interviewed 3/26 and 3/28? Or were we all waitlisted?

IM STILL ON THE WAITLIST.. I HAVENT HEARD BACK FROM THEM SINCE

Was everybody from 3/26 and 3/28 seriously all put on the waitlist?

I was wait-listed and received an acceptance email from Mount Sinai Beth Israel. I'm not sure what to do. Anybody hear good things about Mount Sinai ABSN program?

I haven't heard anything back from Pace.

I found out on February 27th that I was waitlisted and never heard anything back since then... I’ve already decided to go to another school, and just asked to be removed from the waitlist in case I was still on it. Good luck to everyone else!

Just me or is the wait killing anyone who got accepted into the program. I wish it started this summer ?

Did you get your schedule yet?

Hey cvaoliilii84,

I haven't received my schedule yet. An email was sent out on Friday saying there is an issue with 2 courses which has delayed registration. Did you also get that email?

Do they ask students who are currently in the process of graduating for their diploma or a copy, I’m just curious as to how it works

Hey, i just got accepted to the ABSN program at Pace University and just wanted to get feedback on the program quality of learning, job placement. Any input from current students or graduates would be helpful. Thank you !!!

Hi all! I just completed the ABSN program 2018-2019. Overall the program administration is not great. You're often left wondering what's happening?, are they working on it?, did they forget? etc. Communication was very poor prior to and during the program. Sometimes there were last minute changes on clinical sites (not necessarily their fault) but there's often confusion on what needs to be submitted and what not.

Academics were average. Often there was conflict between what one professor tells you versus another and versus the book. I believe this stems from the medical profession constantly updating, differences between facilities where these professors worked at and dated info. in the textbooks (even new editions are a few years old). It can be a stressful program but just take one day at a time. It's worth it in the end because you'll have a license but be ready to be a student again aka you have no control/authority on what clinical sites you get or how academics/grades are applied. With this perspective, you'll get through just fine without the extra stress of fretting over perceived/accurate unfairness. That's just how universities run. That said, they have great clinical sites and connections; I spent many at NYP, others were sent to Westchester, Bellevue, Jamaica, etc.

Overall, it's a fine program to get your nursing license. If you have the option to go to a cheaper school I would recommend it (Pace is 20K a semester for ABSN) but it is a decent school and you will accomplish what you came to do.

If you're an accepted student, I am selling my uniforms on ebay for half the cost of a new uniform. https://www.ebay.com/itm/50-OFF-Pace-University-Nursing-Uniform-Female-Size-Small-Student-Set-2019/392384018747

Hi @nursingsm thank you so much for this post. I’m currently getting ready to apply for next fall. Pace is my first choice because of location and length of the program. This may be a lot but could you just briefly explain a typically week? Hours? Did / were you able to work?

Thank you.
