Hello,
I was wondering are there any over 50 new grad areas that are suggested? I have heard of over 50 individuals having trouble based on skill level like in an acute area. I know new grad skill level is not age based, but if there are any areas that are more suited for over 50 please let me know.

swan, my mom is a nurse and she is part of the almost 60 club. She teaches and has for a long time. She is definitely okay with teaching. Although, her problem was not her age (she was early to mid 40s when she was last seeking acute care); it was she had a lot of experience and a BSN. At the time, most floor nurses were ADN.
