Out of work for too long?

I'm a Stay at Home Mom to my beautiful daughter.I'm thinking/planning on finishing up my NCLEX and TOEFL by the end of this year,God permits. My last work experience was 2009 and then I migrated here at the USA.To sum it all up,I chose to focus on my growing family first. And now my daughter just turned 1 (Yey!!).Hoping to be employed as a nurse despite the OFF years (when I have my license).Any opinion/experience is much welcome. Thanks guys!!!

That's a big gap, once you obtain your licence, suggest you take a refresher course. It's currently an employer's market in most areas and your resume will be in competition against RNs with recent experience and with fresh local grads.
