Hello everyone! Is anyone applying to the Our Lady of Lourdes RN program in Camden September 1st? Has anyone heard any new information about the waitlist for those accepted into the program? I was hoping we can keep each other updated!

Hey! I applied for the spring 2019 semester as well :) I had my interview 1 week ago so now it's just a waiting game! If you already had an interview, how soon did you hear back after you sent your application in? My friend is currently in the program and she said they contact the most eligible candidates first!

I interviewed last week too! I handed in my application at the end of August. A week later I got a call asking if I could fill in for someone who cancelled their interview. Unfortunately, I couldn't because of work but that following Monday I was sent an email to schedule one. I hope what your friend says is true!! If so, I'll see you there! I do know a girl who handed hers in on August 31st of last year, had an October interview, and was accepted in to the program. People found out by Oct 31st of last year so fingers crossed we will too!

This information was super helpful, thanks! For the fall 2018 semester, my friends cousin applied during the end of March, was called for an interview around the beginning of April, and was accepted in June. So I'm trying to analyze these timelines lol! Fingers crossed for us, absolutely.

No problem! Thank you for sharing with me. Oh wow! The girl I knew applied for Fall 2018 and was assigned a start date of Spring 2019. She was taking her final 2 prerequisites when she applied. I think they factor that in to your start date. If that's the case maybe I should've waited until spring to apply to get an earlier start date. I'm currently taking my last 2. How about you?

You're welcome! A similar thing happened to my high school friend. She applied for the fall 2017 semester, and since she didn't have 2 pre reqs completed, they accepted her for the fall 2018 semester. An entire year later! So I agree they definitely do factor it in. And same here! I'm currently taking microbiology, I hope they accept me into the spring so I don't have to wait another semester & be behind even more! I'm applying to RCGC's Fall 2018 nursing program as a back up. They require the HESI nursing entrance exam whereas Lourdes requires the TEAS. I plan to take the HESI soon, ugh!

Good for you that you have a back up! I only applied to OLOL so I'm really hoping I can start by Fall 2019. I'm waiting to hear back from Lourdes before I apply elsewhere. I heard the Rutgers nursing program is at a year wait too! Good luck with everything!! I'll keep you updated when I hear anything!
