Looks like I am a "no go"

for Lourdes. I wonder if they accepted anyone from our group that day. I felt really good about the interview and the dreadful exam. Now that I found out I can move on and wait to hear back from some other programs. Nice meeting with all of you. Have a blessed holiday season.

I feel bad you did not get accepted either i had an excellent feeling about the interview as well, now i am just waiting for Georgetown anyway is my first choice great University, i will be very happy if i get a seat in DC.

My Dad asked me if you were accepted?

Now i can tell him we were in the same boat that day, sorry about that but we move on.

Good luck, great pleasure to meet you, let me know how the others interview went.

Regards.

Indeed we must move on. Although the news at first dampered my whole weekend off. My husband offered the greatest support along with my closest friend. Georgetown is a nice school, they have plenty of similators, labs..etc. What are your stats ? GRE, CCRN? that stuff. I am working torwards my CCRN and should of had it prior to the interview, but put it off due to the cost of applying to these programs. Keep in touch. God Bless All.

I was accepted.

Sorry to you guys who weren't Good luck in your search. I interviewed the 18th, Where are you two from? i am trying to remember who you were...

I am still waiting for Georgetown final word!

At end of the day, it's my favor school, for multiple reasons, labs as you said, i don't have to commute in the first year if i am able to get an apt around, plus high quality education.

Thank you all for your support and follow up, it was a pleasure to meet you all.

Regards and keep trying.

Can anyone give any insight as to what the interview is like at Our Lady of Lourdes? I have an interview next week and I must say, I'm quite nervous since I don't know what to expect.

How did the interview go? I had an interview there last Nov, but did not get in. I have been working on my CCRN, and received certification yesterday, so sorry I was not able to help you with the interview process. I will be reapplying there this fall now that the CCRN is behind me. Take care.

I have applied to Our Lady Of Lourdes CRNA program... Just wanted to know abt the basic science exam.. from reading the post I guess its mostly based on CCRN types but I would like to know what to really focus on.. Is it more cardiac, pulmonary, drips....or more chem...How long was the interview what types questions..Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Hello,

Do you have an interview? The basic quiz was not that bad, its like taking the CCRN but at a more beginners level. There is some basic chem, but not enough to break open a book over. I would look over some ACLS stuff too. That is pretty much it and all I have to say about the test, or all I can say, if you catch my drift. The interviews were relaxing, get to know type. Try to relax.

Yes I have an interview coming up..The problem is I am taking a statistics class and don't really have time to look much into my CCRN book..That's why I would like to know what to really focus on for the basic science exam...

also if anyone could shed some light on the strengths and weaknesses of the program..How the clinicals are? Is it a front loaded program? anybody who is in the program?

Thanks

I am too early in to be able to give you a true list of strengths and weaknesses...

So far I like it a lot. It is very clinically heavy and is an integrated program. We were in the OR within 7 weeks of starting the program.

Good Luck in your interview.

Moneymn-

I will be reapplying this year, and wanted to hear your view of the program. I was at the interviews last year, and hoping to give it

another shot this year, I feel that I am a better applicant, last year I met the minimum. Could you also share your stats:GRE, GPA, CERTS, that would help, any advice would be great. Thanks.
