OU Traditional Fall 2015

Hey everyone! I didn't see a thread about this yet and I am sorry if there already is one. I was wondering if anyone else is anxiously waiting to hear back about OU's traditional fall program. Last I heard, they would be sending out the decision either the end of March or the beginning of April. Anyone hear anything else? Thanks!

No kidding. It's a very long list of books! I only checked the price on a couple before I had to quit. Too depressing, haha.

I'm glad you guys mentioned the dress code. I was planning on wearing jeans but I will dress a little nicer now.

I was in planning on jeans too! At least there would have been two of us underdressed ;)

So, until they tell us anything otherwise I plan on wearing jeans. I have not seen anything said about dressing business casual

I haven't either, I just plan on dressing business casual, but I would include jeans in that, if a nice shirt and shoes are worn, that can be business casual. I myself plan on wearing a dress, but really just because I look better in them than I do in jeans. :)

Hey everybody, I am not sure who all follows OU nursing on Facebook, but they posted pics from another campus orientation today, and the dress was very, very, casual. So I do not think anyone should worry about jeans or shorts :)

Awesome! I will definitely wear jeans then! I also noticed they all had their laptops. Did I miss an email where they said we needed to bring ours? I know the Tulsa and the OKC orientations are probably different, but I want to make sure I don't forget to bring something. I saw on the orientation email they said:

"Within the next couple of weeks an additional email will be sent detailing all the information that must be brought to orientation."

I never received an email with that info. Did anyone else receive it?

All I got was the info with the paperwork, but I still didn't get anything saying we needed to take a laptop, I don't have one, so I am going to take my ipad... I am curious how much money is everyone taking tomorrow? I am not ordering books or uniforms through OU, but am still unsure how much I should take.... See you all tomorrow! :)

That was a fun 6 hours 😁...feeling a little overwhelmed, hoping I can remember all of the important tips. I'm ready to get started!!

Yes it was Carolina.... I did not see anyone from this forum... not that I could have identified them anyways, and yes I took enough money. It certainly was a lot of info and a little crazy :)
