OSU-OKC Spring 2018

Hello everyone!

I saw conversation threads from last semesters and thought that I would reach out to see if others had applied for the Spring 2018 Nursing Program at OSU-OKC. I would love to be able to chat with others as we all begin the big waiting game.

I applied to OSU-OKC last week with 93 points and am finishing up my application for UCO!

I took micro this summer and loved it. I took it at OCCC and made an A. Lots of work and studying but it is manageable.

I'm taking it now and its relatively easy. The labs are fun. However, I'm taking it in Ardmore, I don't live in OKC area. If I was in your situation I'd probably go ahead and take it during the summer.

I applied with 87 and I heard the cut off was 77 or 78 last semester. Not sure which number Gaytra said. I called the other day to see if they had a number yet and they didn't. Still to early I guess. I'm really, really hoping I get in for Spring 18 semester! Good luck to everyone that applied!

I'm taking Micro now and it's not too bad. The labs aren't bad at all (way better than chemistry) and it's mainly a memorization course. The homework is also pretty minimal.

I also applied to OSU-OKC for the Spring! I applied with 86 pts and she called that "competitive." I only got a 71.3 on my TEAS so you all did way better than I did! They sent out that email saying mid-October so I hope it's this coming week!! I've been so anxious, I wanna know already!

And to the person that asked about Micro, take it in the summer; you'll be glad you did, just make sure the professor has decent reviews so it's not a horrible summer, haha.

I just called and they said points were from 82-110. So looks like my 80 didn't make it :(

You may get on the wait list. Last application period the cut off was 80, but after a week or so it dropped to 78 for those who were on waitlist. You still have a great chance! And, if not this time, there is always the next application period. í ½í¸Š Try not to stress about it....I know it's easier said than done.
