OSU-OKC Fall 2021

Published

I haven't seen a forum for nursing applicants for the Fall of 2021! Just out of pure curiosity where others are standing with points and anxious about applying!

Thank you!! I should get something by this week I hope! That’s the bad part of living kinda far from OKC.. everything takes awhile to get here ?

Yaaay!! So happy for everyone!! ?

Now we just have to stress about the 483 things we have to get done by the deadlines!  ? I’m SO excited to get started, though.
I’m curious how many people applied & how many spots there were, considering the high point cut off. My best friend didn’t get in, which sucks, but should be good to go for Spring even if the points are as high.

Congratulations! Which school are you going to choose?

Hey! I know some of the past groups of accepted students have made a facebook group to keep in touch, if anyone comes across or makes one, could you post it here so we could join? I only have a facebook for minimal use, so not too savvy on there! I don't know anyone personally who got in, and it'd be nice to navigate all of this with people in the same boat.

Hey jk711! I don't have facebook but agree it would be nice to connect with some future classmates. I haven't seen or heard of anything yet either. Now that finals are done I plan to start checking items off of our To Do list next week!

Paramedic here applying with 85 points! I scored an 854 on the HESI but my GPA isn't the greatest! any other Lpn/paramedic apply for the bridge?!

Hi Shafal, I had planned on applying to the bridge program & applied to the traditional program as a backup & was accepted. After speaking to my advisor I chose not to apply to the bridge as clinicals are on the weekends which isn't ideal with young kids at home. Sorry, not much help!

Have you taken any pre-reqs at OSU-OKC? That's how I've met other applicants, so maybe that could be an option? I am a lab tech for anatomy & work with someone who just finished his first semester as paramedic-RN, but he didn't have a ton to share with me in regards to actually getting in. LOL
