Sep 26, 201411 yr Author It's objective structured clinical examination which is a part of the college of nurses of ontario's assessment process for internationally educated nurses.
Sep 30, 201411 yr At the university I am at we have osce examinations aswell. For ours, we have to show up in our scrubs, school ID, steth, etc. For us, there will be scenarios and we won't know what the scenario will be until we step into the exam room. We are expected to complete a 60 second assessment, general survey, vitals. Then depending on the scenario and what is asked, a focused assessment. Next, we would administer medications that is required and end with teaching. I have some osce study sheets typed up, basically a review of all the systems/ assessments. If you would like I can send you a PM and email them to you
