Hi,
I am internationally trained nurse from India. I applied for registration as RN in college of nurses of Ontario Oct 2011. They took over a year and finally determined that my education/ experience is not equivalent to those of current graduates of Canadian nursing program. They have asked me to write Observational Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and pass in order to show equivalency. My question is that have anybody else been asked to take OSCE exam and what to expect? Also what does the college consider while evaluating education as other nurses from my college have been given eligibility without fulfilling any other criteria or exam!!
I have just attended the information session about OSCE held by health force ontario. I do recommend you take it as well. It is very informative and its free. :) You will gain a broader knowledge about the test flow and setting. You may be able to narrow down the areas of focus you need to touch up on. Just visit their website.

Requesting exam test material such as test questions is not permitted by the Terms of Service of this site as it is considered to be a form of academic cheating.
CNO considers it unethical and professional misconduct, to either solicit or provide test material.

I've just found out that HealthForceOntario will be conducting nursing OSCE information sessions on April 15, 24 & 30. Their Access Centre provides FREE services to support internationally educated health professionals.
This could help you.
