Orthopedic salary for new grad FNP

Published

Is anyone willing to share ballpark figures they make as orthopedic NPs? Or know of anyone and what their average yearly income is? I have looked everywhere (Glassdoor, Indeed..etc) for range of salaries and it gives me anywhere from 70k-100+k per year.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

Specializes in Surgery.

It would help to know if this is inpatient or outpatient Ortho and what state you live in. It also matters what your RN experience is like in Orthopedics..

No prior RN experience in orthopedics (not required for position applied to), outpatient with very narrow focus

Go to indeed.com and type in nurse practitioner and your locality. It will give you the average salary. Or type in ortho NP and don't put a locality and it will give you some national figures. I certainly hope you're making more than $100k being a midlevel in a surgical specialty.

Ortho NPs in Wisconsin, especially if you are assisting in surgeries, make at least 100k, average 120k. Ortho is a big $$$ maker. Hope this helps!
