So I'm taking o-chem starting in a couple of days and I'm extremely nervous. I've taken general chem and let's just say Im more of a bio person. I was wondring if any one could spare some tips and resources??? Also if any one else is taking it....study group?
I will be using the organic chemistry text by Janice smith.

this link contains hundreds of youtube videos pertaining to Physics and Organic Chemistry. Besides that, there are handouts along with each video. Good luck.
I just remembered this really good site. He has detailed videos explaining step by step ways of solving basic Intro level chem problems.
I'm more of a Bio. person myself, but I made it through ok. Unfortunately there isn't much resources, but I took it last semester so its still fresh in my mind, so feel free to PM me with any specific problems/questions you have. I'd love to help! :)
Thanks so much maria... I actully just came back from o chem and so far it doesnt seem too bad...we"ll see how it goes in the middle of the semester....I will def. PM you when I need a little extra help :)
I'm about to begin taking my chemistry this month but I did find a site that's been helpful to me since i'm browsing my books now:

good luck to us both!
I took O-chem last semester! I did not use any outside study materials
My tips:
Learn the first intro concepts and understand them firmly!!! The class basically adds on to the basic topics you first learn so if you don't understand them to start off with you will get confused! If you did fine in general chem you will do fine in o-chem!
goodluck to you all!
