OR experience for Plastic Surgical Nursing...please HELP!!!

i would love to get into plastic surgical nursing, so i have been searching and reading through this forum looking for information on how to get started. i have already gotten some great advice from some very nice people! :)

but...i have another question. it seems that most people are saying that in order to become a plastic surgical nurse, i will need or experience. is there anything i can do before i graduate nursing school that will get me familiar with the or, or do i have to wait until i graduate and become an or intern?

i don't know much about any of this yet, so if you have any information for me...please share!!! thank you! ;)

you definitely need the or experience, some facilities will let you work in the or as a student, or even the pacu would be another excellent choice. you can't go wrong with getting additional experience in either of those areas.
