when did you have your OR clinicals?

Just wondering when you had your clinicals in the OR?

Is there a specific class that you take prior to entry in the Operating room?

This question is for general nursing students ADN or BSN programs.

I'm in a hospital diploma school and we just had a one weeks clinical during med-surg out rotation in OR/PACU (2 Clinical days) So one day spent observing in OR and one observing in PACU (maybe getting vitals) We also, depending on semester, might accompany our pt to the OR if they went. Mostly, just observe to see what it is like, how things work, and if we would have an interest. The other med surg term we did a similar out rotation to GI lab/ home care. In Critical care nursing our out rotation was to ED
