Hi, you all am glad to be a member of this forum.:) i am a new operating room nurse doing the OR course for a year in my home country in Africa. and I love this course sooo much, even though i am still quite new in training (roughly 3months+) still .but I am beginning to enjoy every bit of it.

please i will be needing advice from fellow nurses in this forum from time to time, because i know you have more experience than I do in this specialty.

also another major challenge that i am facing over here majorly is the availability of the text books. we find it very difficult to find, hardly able to find and if at all when we see they are rather too expensive considering coming from a third world country.

i would really love to excel in this specialty, and save as much life as i can, within my strength and ability, but i cant do it without, studying hard.

please i would be most grateful if anyone can recommend any sites for OR nurses where i can get free online perioperative nurses books to download. or sites where i could study that would be helpful to me.
