If anyone is waiting on a spot for NS Phoenix college just opened up an accelerated program with 30 slots. After the run on Tuesday there are still 29 slots available, so if you're waiting for a slot and don't mind doing an accelerated program you can always change your preferences and hopefully get one of those spots.

Geez, when did they implement this program? It sure would have been nice to have been told that this was in the works. I've already accepted a slot at PC in the traditional program but it would have been nice to be able to look at all the options. Kind of stinks when they offer new options AFTER you've accepted.
Not to be all gloom and doom....I've only heard good things about PC. I'm really getting excited. Got my books and have put them all on my shelf. It's starting to sink in that I'm really going to get started FINALLY!!

Deanna, maybe you can see if you can transfer into it? It's worth asking. I think they just implemented it a week or two ago, I keep an eye on how many openings there are in different schools (just for my own info) and noticed it about two weeks ago. I'm not sure how many got placed today during the run, probably not a lot 'cause I"m not sure if they really got the word out about it or not.
I'm getting sort of excited too. We have math class on the 5/6 of Jan, getting started the next week after that...:chuckle

How do you know how many openings there are at various schools?
HisHands- I have the link to the page the district inputs all the openings to. It's up to the second, so anytime they enter openings it will automatically update everytime I log on to it.
Speaking of, they filled all of the Phoenix accelerated slots, but there is one public opening for Glendale f/t!!
