heard back from UofT- rejected for the MN-NP stream. stats: 3.86 GPA, 2 years of experience in oncology, a bit of leadership experience & awards from school/workplace 

also got into York!! so I will be going there 🙂

Just received my acceptance to TMU MN-NP full time starting September 2025. I received my acceptance on Friday June 13. Friday THE 13TH! I knew there was a reason I always insisted it was lucky. 

Thank you to everyone in these chats who reached out or shared their experiences. To everyone who got in, Congratulations! Hope we are all successful in becoming NPs and serving our community. To everyone waiting to hear still - TMU is literally so behind right now and I have heard from others that they are notorious for acceptances being sent as late August.................. crazy. I reached out to them a few weeks ago and asked about my status and they did say that there were issues in their own process and it was still pending review by the last admissions team member. They also asked if I was still interested in admission to the program this late so if you have accepted elsewhere but TMU pending, perhaps just shoot an email if you want to be a Good Samaritan to let them know you won't be interested in acceptance so it speeds up the process for another candidate waiting? IDK just a thought! We are all busy and scrambling so obviously this could be completely out of your realm of priorities.

 

This was my second time in the last 4 years applying for my Masters, in hindsight I can 100% see why an earlier year would have not served me. Everything happens for a reason. Hang tight ❤️ 

PS to anyone going to TMU this fall - HI! If you have any info on the program, classes, etc I would love to chat.

Which school are you waiting to hear back from. I am waiting for York, my email response on June 10 stated that they are hoping to conclude end of June. Did York ever waitlist anyone or reject any one recently. The wait is killing and I just want to move on.

I got admitted to york last Monday! There is still hope

I am waiting for York as well. Nothing yet from the university.
