Just a question for Ontario LPN's called RPN's in Ontario. How many of you are bridging to RN and what is your main reason for doing this or not doing this? Thanks to all who reply.
The colleges in Toronto, such as George Brown and Centennial, allow RPN's from other colleges, ex. Georgian college, to bridge into the second year of the BSN program but you need a final GPA of 3.5 in the RPN program (90%) to be accepted into this.
I recently graduated from the RPN program and have already applied for the BSN program. Currently, I feel like I made the biggest mistake ever going into the RPN program instead of the BSN program.. I REALLY regret it.
I'm looking for jobs in my area of interest, in Toronto, and can not find any hospitals that hire RPN's. This is so frustrating.. I'm not interested in LTC nor living in a small city where some hospitals do hire RPN's...
