Ontario Hospital Association DENIES ONA request for a wage increase greater than 1%

For Canadian Nurses in the province of Ontario wondering about whether they should leave the safety of their homes and risk their lives to help combat COVID-19 on the frontlines (despite the fact that we're still not being provided with PPE)...According to our government, we're not worth a 1% wage increase.....I'll just leave this here:

Until we're treated with basic human decency, and receive a humane response to the risks we're facing on the job...Do NOT help. Stay home, and stay safe!
