Online verification of licensure

Hi, I am in Louisiana. Has anyone ever done an online license verification on themselves? If so what does it look like. If your license is suspended would it state suspended on the on line verification?

I look up my license once in a while - I had some issues years back and was told it would not appear on my license. I check just to keep them honest. If you have licenses in more than one state you can do a free look-up on Nursys.com

I am asking because my license was suspended due to a false positive drug screen,( I am on probation ) The board met yesterday. I had never done an online verification so now I am unsure as to what I am looking at. What is there is a form... no where does it say license suspended but that the employer has to fax that to the board.

In Texas I go to the Board of nursing website and there is a page for license verification. Just put in your name or license number. It shows type of license (RN), city & state, date issued, license number, Licensure Status: CURRENT and Current Disciplinary Action: NONE

I just checked and the Louisiana board of nursing website has the same thing. You can check your own and see what it shows. Mine shows no disciplinary action because I'm in TPAPN. It's the STATUS line I think that would show SUSPENDED.

Thanks, that's what I thought too. Hopefully this form that is on mine means that I am reinstated. It has been a long road.
