I'm going to receive my Associate's in a community college and I want to start working with my RN while I take courses online towards my BSN, will it hurt me in my CRNA application if I get my BSN online?

No it shouldn't, as long as it's an accredited school & it's recognized with the NLN....a nurse friend of mine who does home care on my daughter at night is also a school nurse by day who has her BSN (since 88), she is getting her Masters through U of Phoenix online right now....it's 5 weeks per semester per class with papers to write & group projects....she says it's a good program & she only has a few classes left & she's done....she likes it alot for her time constraints, family responsiblilities etc...I think it's a little expensive but overall a good program from what she's mentioned...I am actually going to check it out when I graduate in December

didn't hurt me.............I start na school in a few months. Most nursing schools have a rn-bsn online program, so it should be the norm. I have several friends that did the online route are are practicing crna's now. good luck.

I agree with the other posts, but you may want to call the program director of the schools that are at the top of your list and ask or email them directly.
