online rn to bsn chamberlain college

I am about to start an online rn to bsn through Chamberlain College of Nursing on march 1st 2010. I've read lots of reviews, more good than bad, so I decided to proceed. I am wondering if anybody out there has any new information about their own experience so far this year with the program? This is not my first online program, but wonder about the amount of hours weekly each course is taking??? I see that the school is accredited, but is the online program accredited also?? Is anyone else out there starting in March?

I plan on starting with one course NR351, this is my first time taking a real online course. I have 7 nursing courses to take and 3 general education courses and one elective course.

I'm also planning to start Oct 24. Not sure what I'm taking yet. Still talking with my advisor. I live in NJ, and just got my Associate Degree in May. No hospitals in my area of the country are hiring Associate Degree nurses now, so I'm going to do the RN to BSN now so I can hopefully get a job!

I passed boards in July, I live in NY. I worked in a hospital prior to getting my degree so I won't have a problem upgrading. I'm looking at other options and yes a BSN degree is required. I just want to get started I want to complete the program ASAP.

Just skim the chapters, used the book for posting and citing.

Soc and Transitions OK together, just lots of busy work and posting between chamberlain and devry. Follow the grading rubics and include all they are asking for in the papers and you will do great!!

Feel good about Chamberlain, nervous about the finance department til they get back to me. Only recently applied being pushed to start Oct. 24th as well, last night felt regrets about doing this with young kids at home..

I'm taking Transitions NR351, does anyone know which professor is the best? I've never taken online classes before and my writing isn't great. My grammar school years were chaotic to say the least. Good luck to whomever is starting on Oct 24th, best wishes.

I am starting Chamberlain as well with Transitions and possible 2 other classes. I'm trying to do the 12 classes in 2 semesters while working full time. I Need to know if I can buy used books for online classes or do I need the access code? Thanks in advance and let's all keep in touch!
