online R.N programs

I am looking for basic information regarding A.S online R.N programs>

1) are they accepted in the state of California

2)if they are what are some of the better programs

3)doses any one have real experience with this type of education. that is how hard is to go to nursing school online?

Im an EMT and a surgical tech for many years now looking for the next step but with work and children online education appears to be a possible means to my goal. Any help is appreciated.CJ.

i think excelsior is online , but i think you have to have a nursing license (LPN ) to get into their RN program. i'm not sure if they are accepted in calif... i'm sure there will be alot of responses , good luck in school and keep us posted

im not exactly sure how excelsior works but ive heard that if you get your paramedic cert you can CLEP out of some of the classes required and finish in about a year

Make some phone calls, Excelsio and the CA BON. You have to do clinical time also in CA,
