Online Pre-req classes?

So I have been reading some posts here and some pre-nursing students are taking online Micro and APII courses with @ home labs.

Do nursing programs accept these kind of classes? Or does it vary between nursing programs.

Anyone know about California programs accepting these courses?

I would take prerequisites in class. It is better for your own learning experience. And online classes are usually harder, more demanding, less extra credit and less curving.

But if you have to check with your college. Some colleges will not put on your transcript whether the course was taken online or on campus. I am not sure, that is what I heard.
