Is anyone attending a reasonably priced online Post Masters Psych NP Program? If so, please reply with programs, even if you were accepted and have not started. I tried Eastern Kentucky, and so did two of my former nursing students. They were told they did not have enough nursing experience. They both found another program, however, it requires residency visits to an out-of-state university once per semester. I teach, so that is too often for me.
I didn't even ask why I wasn't accepted. My GPA is very good, I just completed an FNP Program in my state and I have worked in Psych and taught Psych nursing for 10 years. I'm assuming they prefer in-state applicants.
Thanks much!

University of South Alabama? No residencies and very cheap from what I hear.
I'm attending Gonzaga U. It has one 2 day on campus "immersion" each semester of clinicals. They occur over a weekend. So far so good. They have a post master's PMHNP, not just a certificate so you can receive financial aid if needed. The university is located in Spokane WA. They will only allow PMHNP candidates from certain states however due to needing to conduct site visits during the practicums.
