Online Pharmacology Course?

I was wondering if anyone here has taken the pharmacology course online in their first semester? It will be my second time at taking an online course with the first being psychology (got an A). I am now thinking maybe taking it online is not such a good idea. Let me know what you all think...:icon_hug: Thanks!!!

I am just finishing my pharmacology course this week - getting ready for the final right now.

I had reservations about taking online courses when I started. If they are just lecture anyway, why not? I do miss the discussion aspect, and the little insights that professors can give while they talk in class, but I have come to enjoy the convenience of online coursework. If you are well disciplined about getting the reading/studying done, then do it! It is a lot more work than pysch. Allot several hours each day to do the work. It is challenging, but also a very enjoyable course. I really like pharm, and have learned an enormous amount of material.

It's probably best if you have taken pathophysiology already,and of course chemistry. These two courses will help you a lot in pharm.

I took the online CCSN Pharm. I also read every chapter. Unfortunately for me, I am a visual/auditory learner, so I was a bit afraid of it being online.

Read/understand as much as you can, and make sure you do the questions after each chapter from the evolve website. Those helped a lot.

Just don't mess around when you are taking your tests. Yes, you take them at home, with any resource you wish (allowed). They are timed. The final was murderous, and I almost ran out of time.
