Yes! That sounds great! Have you been on campus before, since you are living in WI already? I've never been on campus but I have been out to WI for a wedding and to visit family. It is gorgeous there! At least out in Wisconsin Rapids and surrounding areas that I drove through.

I see there are a few others starting in Feb '19 from another post for the Oct '18 cohort.

Do you already have an idea of what area you think you will want to work in after graduation? I think I would like to be in the ED or ICU for a while before I make any decisions, but I feel a bit drawn towards oncology, geriatrics, or even staying in the ED or ICU.

Hey all!! I hope your program is off to a good start. I just mailed my application off yesterday for the October cohort. It should get there tomorrow on the 21st. The cut off is on March 30 so I am wondering when I can expect to hear back? I’m super nervous. I really need to get into this cohort. I have 6 years of nursing home CNA experience and 2 years of ICU hospital experience. My pre-rec GPA was 3.7 and my undergrad GPA was 3.0. Do you think I stand a chance !?!? Really appreciate any feedback ?

also, are there a lot of guys in the program!?

79 days left until graduation for me. Can’t wait!

There are not a lot of guys in my cohort- Only 5 out of the 30 of us.
