Hello everyone, I am applying to LLU BSN program to start in Fall of 2018. I just wanted to start a forum and see how everyone is doing, and help each other with updates.

I actually got a call from Dora to have my interview. Does every qualifying applicant get an interview or only the potential candidates to be admitted get an interview?

I'm taking TEAS and critical thinking on Monday. Do they give you the scores right away?

Yup! Once you finish your TEAS you go up to the front desk and they give you a print out of your score then they have you start the critical thinking and you have them print that out too after you're done. It shows your score and tells you the national average and the BSN program average.

Oh cool. Good to know. I'm so nervous about the tests. I've been studying a lot! Was the critical thinking test difficult?

It was pretty difficult you just really have to take your time and think hard about what they are asking. The questions are weird and kind of hard to understand. I really don't even know how to explain what they were like. Almost like little riddles i guess? Just try not to stress about the time.

Well, I took the TEAS and critical thinking today. I scored 78 on the TEAS and 18 on the critical thinking. Both of the tests were a lot harder than I had anticipated! Wow! Has anybody else gotten interviews? Anybody else wanna share their scores?

I got a 77 in my TEAS and a 17 on my Critical Thinking. I had my interview on the same day as my TEAS.

I got an 82 on the teas but only a 16 on the critical thinking. Once everything is turned in they should schedule you in a week or 2 for interviews.

Does anybody know about when they would make their decisions on who gets accepted?

No I haven't been called yet :( starting to worry a little bit! I'm curious if it's because I still have pre reqs in progress.. but they won't be finished until may so I couldn't see them waiting that long to interview me. Has anyone else not been called??

I haven't been called, but I think that is because I just got everything in (letters of rec., testing, etc.). Do they call everybody in for an interview?

I also have prerequisites in progress BTW, and won't be done until May as well. I asked them though if I should still apply, and they said yes, as long as they will be done before I start the program, so I don't think that is a problem.
