Loma Linda Nursing Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone, I am applying to LLU BSN program to start in Fall of 2018. I just wanted to start a forum and see how everyone is doing, and help each other with updates.

I actually got a call from Dora to have my interview. Does every qualifying applicant get an interview or only the potential candidates to be admitted get an interview?

Thank you

Does anyone know when letters are sent out for yea or nay?... Did everything turn out for you guys: JulietB and Taytay1595?

I have no clue I still haven't even been called for an interview :( I hope they interview everyone before they make any picks!

I still haven't been called for an interview either. í ½í¸

Awww you guys. Hmm. I wonder if they are still calling for interviews. I really do hope so, because online it states "All qualified applicants will be invited for an interview"

I don't see why they wouldn't be calling for interviews still seeing as how the deadline was just on 3/1, so everybody had until then to get everything submitted

Still no call for me. Should I be worried? I wonder how soon they call the applicants for interviews...

Don't worry you aren't alone I still haven't gotten called yet either! I'm thinking maybe after their spring break?

Hello all,

I applied right before the deadline and got a call today for an interview. I scheduled it ASAP due to other nursing schools in progress and the sooner I know the better.

Okay, so now I'm a little worried. I wonder if they schedule interviews in any particular order. If they interview every qualified candidate, I don't see why I wouldn't get one since I've met all of the requirements. Anybody else?

Hey JulietB, Don't worry you will be getting a call.

I asked when I went in for an interview and they said that this quarter they received a lot of applications more than usual. They usually receive ~130 to ~150 and this quarter they received ~185 so it's going to take a while to interview qualified applicants.

Goodluck!

Any tips for the interview?

Yes, be calm take your time to answer questions. It is O.K if it's silent for a couple seconds while you gather your thoughts. Take a bottle of water just in case. Most importantly, I know it sounds cheesy but be yourself. I did a mock interview with my sister and I wrote questions I thought they would ask and I practiced it truly helped :)
