Frontier Nursing University Class 175

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I've just been offered admission to Frontier Nursing University's Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program for class 175! I was wondering if anyone else here has been offered admission to this class? Also, anyone who's attended the program, what are your thoughts? I'm nervous but excited. I was also offered admission to SUNY Polytechnic's Family Nurse Practitioner program and accepted their offer because I had been previously waitlisted at FNU. I'm still weighing my options because FNU was my first choice and I really wanted to be in a women's health program. I just don't want to make the wrong decision but my heart is telling me FNU. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated!

As an update I have accepted FNUs admission offer and will be at Frontier Bound May 21st-24th! I am very excited to start this journey!

How exciting! I applied to their class of 176 WHNP program and just received email confirmation that they've received my completed application and that I am going through their review process. I'm hopeful that in a few months I'll be in your shoes and looking forward to Frontier Bound in August! Good luck in your program and we may very well be future classmates!!

I just recieved notice of waitlist for class 177. How long were you waitlisted Ashley?

I received my waitlist email on 03/08/18 and got my admission offer on 04/02/18, so just a little under a month. Best of luck! I highly recommend Frontier!

Good luck!! I was so impressed during Frontier Bound! It is an amazing school!

Thanks! That gives me high hopes! Congrats to you!

I was accepted into WHNP Class 176 but am considering changing to FNP at Frontier Bound if I'm able to. Who else had heard back??

FYI there is an FNU class 176/178/178 Combo FB Page for those who were accepted if anyone is interested in joining: Log into Facebook | Facebook

Congratulations on your acceptance! It's an amazing university and I was very impressed at Frontier Bound. They pretty much let you switch tracks if you want pretty easily. Someone at my bound was originally FNP but decided WHNP was what she wanted so she asked to switch and they said yeah no problem. Best of luck!!

Thank you! I've been in touch with my admissions officer and she made it sound pretty easy to switch if I ultimately decide to. I've shadowed a couple of providers working in various women's health areas and plan to shadow someone in family medicine in July. I'll let my experience there decide if I stay in the WHNP track or switch to FNP.

Hi all,

I submitted my application earlier this month for class #185 for the FNP track. I was wondering if any of you could just give some information about Frontier Bound and the daily schedule/routine of what will you do while there. Also I thought about brining my wife and daughter and staying in a hotel. Did anyone else bring their family? Or does it not make much sense due to your obligations with FB? I’m not accepted but was just hoping to get some insight on things. Thank you in advance!
