Chamberlain University curriculum and questions

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi I was accepted into Chamberlain University this past week to start January 2nd. I'm super nervous not only because that is such short notice (but I also applied super late) and i'd have to move to attend school. I've transferred 34 credits into Chamberlain and I get to pick my classes this Tuesday! So since I'm transferring credits in I'll be graduating in 2 years instead of 3. I looked at the curriculum and some sessions only have 6 credits (more or less depending on the session). I know I can handle more than 6 credits a session with time management. My question is each semester could I take how many classes I wanted?

Also my mother made me feel discouraged about my decision about attending Chamberlain University because it affiliated with DeVry and she doesn't think I'd be able to get a job or into CRNA school after graduating. I was really excited to start but now I'm having doubts. I understand the tuition is expensive (so do not even mention it) but my main concern is could I get a job after graduation and possibly go to graduate school (like FNP/DNP/CRNA)?

I can answer one question. You can get a job after you graduate from Chamberlin.

jr1991 Great question. I, too, was accepted to Chamberlain to start on January 2, 2018. Which campus will you be attending?

I am really interested in seeing the responses to this post!
