Nursing School Accreditation Question
So I go to a Nursing (BSN) program in TN & the school I attend is ACEN accredited and it is pursuing accreditation for CCNE as well but I read somewhere that grad schools only accept students who went to CCNE accredited schools. Also I'm looking to move back to NY for graduate school once I complete my degree. Will going to a ACEN accredited school hinder me from getting a graduate degree in Nursing or even me getting a job?

Second day from hell PCT, need to vent and advice!!
* Background before the story is that I have NEVER worked as a Patient Care Tech before and the only experience I have is 3 weeks of Nursing school under my belt.* I started my new job this past Saturday and I was being oriented on what duties a PCT does and how to do them. The most I did on Saturday was assist feeding, and assisted the PCT with a bed bath. The nurses reiterated that importance of asking questions if I ever feel confused. After leaving my first day of orientation I was happy and excited to be apart of a great company and could not wait to do it all over again on Sunday. Sunday rolls around and I'm thrown into a pack of wild wildebeests. The PCT I was scheduled to orient with left early because she felt "sick" and before she left (she left 2 hours into our shift) I told her and the charge nurse I don't mind staying but I do NOT feel comfortable being with patients alone just yet. But I was reassured that another PCT will be there with me to show me the ropes since I didn't learn much of anything the previous day. That was a lie. The new PCT I was supposed to shadow kept leaving me alone with 27+ patients alone to either smoke multiple cigarettes, go to McDonalds on her 15 (which we aren't supposed to leave campus on our 15) and took an hour and a half lunch to go to Arbys (we only get a 30 min). & conveniently every time the PCT went missing 10 call lights would go on and the nurses would yell at me to get them all simultaneously by myself. SO any time I had questions on what to do I had to ask the nurses who either didn't want to be bother or they told me I'll be okay to figure it out on my own. Well I asked the charge nurse (the only nurse available at the time) how to place a bed pan because I haven't learned that portion yet in Nursing school. The Charge Nurse responds, "I thought you were in nursing school, how don't you know this?" & with an attitude she showed me how to do it. Basically making me feel like idiot and a burden. I cried & had an anxiety attack periodically during my whole shift (it was also my birthday). And I almost dropped a patient that needed help walking back from the bathroom. I kept apologizing to each patient about how bad of a job I was doing and kept explaining it was my second day and that I was still learning and was very nervous. The advice I received from my professors from this situation was what I was put through was unacceptable and that I should consider resigning because I'm still so anxious about working with that same PCT who abandoned me. I requested to talk to my manager about Sunday but should I rat out everyone? I don't want my coworkers to hate me but what I went through was unacceptable. I also am considering just quitting all together because of how the charge nurse made me feel but I have my clinicals on that same floor (PCU) next semester and I'm unsure how that'll look.

Landing a care partner job as a new nursing student
I'm not sure if the job has internal training or orientation. I would think they do. I'm so nervous the interview is a 30 minute phone interview since I'll be moving to a different state for school.

Landing a care partner job as a new nursing student
I recently received a call to interview for Care Partner job at a local hospital near my school. The thing is I haven't actually started nursing school yet. But I have worked a rehab technician at a Physical Therapy clinic (for about 3 years) and I hold a degree in Exercise Science. So I know how to take someone's blood pressure manually. I can also read and understand QRS complex and the correct placement for 12 lead EKG. My question is how can I possibly land this care partner position if I don't have any experience or any clinical training yet???? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

my cumulative GPA is 2.4 ish not really positive but its horrible. But my science GPA is a 3.5. At the time I applied last year I was told to retake Nutrition and Human Development because the credits from my university didn't transfer over. I also had to take InOrganic Biochem & Microbiology. Hope that helps my cumulative GPA is the only thing holding me back imho.

Kaplan Entrance exam for Cumberland University
So I just finished the Kaplan Entrance Exam for Cumberland University about 10 minutes ago & here are my scores, thoughts and what you guys should study. So for Cumberland the Kaplan Benchmark scores are MATH 79 (I GOT AN 89), READING 77(I GOT AN 64), SCIENCE 55 (I GOT A 85), & WRITING 62 (I GOT A 67). I don't know what my critical thinking score or overall score is because half way through the exam I accidentally selected End Test instead of End Session. So I had to repay to take the remaining sections. So heres how I studied, I used the HESI A2 app to study since I already has the app and didn't feel like buying another book. What I used to do well in the Science portion was Crash Course on Youtube and studying the Kaplan Science on quizlet some questions were EXACTLY the same. I'll link then below once I find it. For math my exam simple dividing fractions, add, subtract. I'm pretty good at math so i used the HESI A2 app just brushing up on my Algebra & the Kahn Academy website. I didn't really study Reading and Writing as much as a should've because on my practice tests I was getting 100%. So I'm very surprised and disappointed at my score. The reading and writing sections had passages and you answer the question according to the passage except a couple questions asked where does the comma not belong, where should this sentence be inserted into the passage, etc. It reminded me of the SATs honestly. I will say I only studied for less than a week so my score could've been better if I studied more. If you have another questions let me know!
