Bellevue College Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi, I haven't seen a thread started for this year, so I figure I'd start one!

Let's talk about the program and the process :)

Have you take the teas or writerplacer yet? how did it go for you?

I did! I didn't do as well as I planned on the TEAS (83%) but did get an 8 on the writerplacer. How about you? How many points do you think you should get through the application process? :)

I've only tallied up points without the TEAS and writerplacer because I haven't done either one, and I have 10 points so far. Did you buy any books for the TEAS? I'm planning to apply for winter quarter!

Hey, I also applied here for fall.

Hey guys! I applied as well. I can't wait to hear back! I think this month sometime?

I think I got 83% on the TEAS and a 6 on the writeplacer. I went to an info session and she said the points were a bit different this year but she thought 14-15 (maybe 13-15?) Would be competitive :) hope everyone here gets in!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Hi Wonka! Sorry for the late reply, I'm hoping that we hear back soon! I haven't heard back from anyone regarding the program, and I'm hoping we'll hear back soon. Hopefully by the end of this week or maybe next week?

I also have not heard anything back, I check the website almost daily to see if they posted anything regarding decision dates. I filled out the "contact us" form online and also did not get a reply. I am just so paranoid with the new online application that I might have missed something and don't know. Good luck to everyone here I know this is a super stressful time and the waiting game stinks, especially with no updates!

Hey guys -

I decided to send an email out, and got an auto-response as she's on vacation, but it did have this regarding our applications:

"ADN Admissions: Apologies to fall 2018 ADN applicants for the delay. This is the first time we've used NursingCAS so we're learning how to process applications as we go. No notifications have been sent at this time. For winter 2018 or later applicants, please plan to attend the June 17, 2018 information session. This is also the best way to learn about our program. More sessions will be scheduled soon."

So it looks like nothing has been sent out yet. She had said she was hoping for May back in an info session in February, but I'd say first week of June is looking more likely.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

I applied as well!

I really hope we hear back soon! Last year folks started hearing back around June 6th, so hopefully it won't be much longer...
