I want to start my nursing education as soon as possible but I work out of town 1 to 3 weeks out of the month so I was looking into online courses. I spent alot of time looking online and I'm going in circles.
I don't want to get ripped off or waste time with a bad online school. I have no medical education except EMT Cert. when I was younger.
Can anyone here please tell me who I should look into and who I should avoid and maybe who is most credible?

Sorry to tell you this but your prob going to have to go to a traditional brick and mortor program. You can take the pre-reqs online, but hte nursing stuff will be more traditional.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Pre-reqs online.......thats sounds perfect. I just need to work this job (good money) while I take online courses till I can find a job at home to begin a "brick and mortor" program. I just can't afford to make any bad steps like some cheesy online school.

I don't believe there are any schools for beginners that are 100% online or distance learning, cheesy or otherwise. A lot of community colleges seem to be doing the hybrid thing lately -- online classes with in-person clinicals. Might be something for you to check out in your community. Best of luck! :)
