Hello, I am an RN planning to continue my education in nurse practitioner. However, I am looking for an online program, in which I can do my clinical in Lebanon, since I will be moving there temporarily.
Or, another alternative is looking for an online Np program that offers a SIX month clinical only.
Is that possible?
Please share any information you have regarding this question !

It's pretty common to be required to do clinicals in the same STATE as your school program; can't possibly imagine ANY program that would allow you to do clinicals in another country. Think about it: their scopes of practice are different, their medical practices are different, resources and tools and equipment are different. The clinical site would have to be recognized by the school you are seeking a degree from....and I simply cannot see this happening.
Haven't yet heard of a clinical duration of six months or less, either, but maybe someone has more information on that.
Consider, iberro, what kind of education you really want: super fast, or good? I don't know you are going to find both in the same program. Good luck!

Actually, if you are moving to Lebanon because you or your spouse are in the military, it may be possible for you to complete clinicals there so long as it is at a US military base under the supervision of US personnel.

6 month clinical!? No wonder NP's get bashed in front of MD's. Either do the work or don't. If you must leave for a while wait to complete your education. Searching for all online or just 6 months of clinical work is a disservice to you and your patients.
If she were to work a 40 hour week in clinicals for a total of 6 months, that would give her over 1,000 hours of clinical experience. This is far more than either of the two regulating bodies for nurse practitioners require for the certifying examination and far more than any brick-and-mortar graduate program in the entire US requires. It is also more total clinical hours than most PA programs require.

Some programs let you complete the didactic work first, then do clinicals. Maybe you could find a program that would allow you to do that, and by the time you've finished the book work you'll be ready to move back to the U.S. and do your clinicals.
Good thinking! May be a possibility, OP?
