Has anyone pursued the majority of their CNM (MSN) online? I've seen many websites from accredited schools being advertised, but I was wondering if anyone has actually used that avenue to obtain their education. An associate of mine has been looking for a school here in upstate New York to continue her education for midwifery, but isn't having a lot of success; perhaps online would be another option. I have been told that State University of New York at Stony Brook also has a truly distance program.
There is a list of programs here, but most that say "distance" are not truly complete distance, so just keep that in mind:
