Online LPN to RN school

I'm just curious if anyone has obtained further education from the college network to advance from LPN to RN. If so did you like obtaining your degree online? I am wanting to advance, but would rather work at my own pace, and on my own time and not have to wait on a long waiting list for a transitional class. I also plan to work full time, and a 5 day week of 8 to 3 classes to a school that is over an hour away isn't ideal when wanting to work full time. I'd appreciate as much input as anyone can give to help me decide how to advance. Thanks.

Please do a search on this forum to see what others have said about The College Network (TCN) -- they are not required to complete Excelsior's LPN to RN program, and will add thousands to the cost of your schooling.

With that being said, there are a lot of EC students and graduates for support, information, and guidance. Welcome to allnurses!

Would not have furthered my education any other way if it weren't for distance learning. Overall I've been very happy with Excelsior college.

Be wary of any of the publishing companies. I signed up with RUE and they told me I needed a class that EC said I did not. Rue would not refund me for that book I didn't need.

You can find all the study material you need on book seller websites and ebay.
