Online LPN to RN (Rue, Excelsior) College - Advice please!

I need advice on the "online" Excelsior LPN to RN thru Rue Education. Has anyone gone through the program, would you recommend it, is it any good, etc. I am an LPN and was put on the wait list for the second time and I am not waiting another year. Any advice would be helpful, I am worried about spending too much money, is it worth it, etc. Thank You all :bowingpur

I too was considering those programs as well, but I have some co-workers who have went through Excelsior and they told me to go straight through them. Cut out the "middle man" so to speak since you will have to sign up eventually with Excelsior for all of your Nursing classes any way. I am still in the starting phase. I have sent in my transcripts and am waiting to hear back about what classes I will need to take. I am excited and scared at the same time, since I haven't been to school in over 20 yrs.
