I don't think there is anyway you can take all of your classes online for a RN degree. You can take some of your prereqs, but thats it. Once you become an RN you can get your masters online, but NOT your basic RN degree. Sorry.

I know here a lot of the courses in the program are only offered in the program. Even though its the same CC district you cannot sign up for the class unless you are an accepted member of the nursing program and they do not offer them online.

I completed most of my pre-reqs online but I don't know of any nursing classes that are online. My program starts in a few weeks and it is only 3 days a week. Check out community colleges in your area. One of the nursing schools around here has a daycare in the school that is run by students in the education program.
Talk with advisors and financial aid about your dilemma and see what they come up with to help you. If your ex gets the kids on the weekends, maybe you could do a weekend program.

in my opinion, it would be way more expensive to do it online (just the pre-req's) than go to a cc if there is one near you. i go to my cc at night because i work ft through the day and also have a baby at home. if you can find a local college, i would say that would be your best bet to check that out!
