online BSN acceptable for NP admission??

- i am an RN with an associates.. i have considered taking an online program to acquire my BSN.. i have been told in the past that graduate schools look poorly on online program acquired BSN degrees.. is this true? will it be harder for me to get into a NP program with a BSN from an online school>?

No, they won't care. Well, maybe some really rare ones care, but not enough to keep you from getting in somewhere.

Not read that anywhere before. Make sure you go to an accred. online program. If you looking into an online MSN, they shouldn't be biased against it either.

Have you looked into NP programs that let you bridge from an RN to MSN? That way you don't have to do a separate BSN.

You might want to consider a school that offers the RN to BSN by online and in person. When you get your disploma, they do not differentiate between the "online" RN to BSN or those that chose the "in person" option.
