Hello Everyone!
My name is Lela, I'm new to the site, and I am very interested in the ADN programs. However, I am very limited on my options (transportation, pregnancy, etc.). I have been searching and searching and came across Deaconess(DCN ONLINE). It offers a web-based only program with the option of getting LPN and continuing on for ADN. On the other hand, I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with it and if it's legitimate. Thank you in advance! I will appreciate any advice or comments!

It is now Chamberlain (sp?), and they no longer accept out of state applicants.

Chamberlain dropped the LPN portion before they dumped their out of state students. To the best of my knowledge, Deaconess was the only nursing school that had an online LPN program. If you should find a program, please post the info, as many are interested in distance programs.
OH, thank you for telling me! I guess I will continue searching or just end up going on the waitlist. TY again!

The PN program has been running for a long time, RN is pending approval. Both have on site requirements (Nursing Skills, and clinicals, spread throughout the semester.)
Thanks for the info Dream Nurse. These links should be posted in a sticky in the distance learning forum.
Oh yeah, this is helpful! I'm glad you are giving us the info!
