Does anyone have any suggestions on a particular school to take Anatomy + Physiology II with lab online? I have 3 kids and life is crazy so I prefer that the tests not be proctored!

yup, i took AP1 and Micro online this semester and I'm applying to one of the best schools in the region that work closely with the magnet hospitals/teaching hospitals in the area. they DO accept the credits.

i had to have my midterm and final proctored - the other tests were done at home. there were a few "lab assignments" i did at home, but nothing major - most of them were virtual labs. i took both micro and ap1 online at the same time and ended up with a B in both courses. i think had i not been doing them both together, i could've gotten an A. i'm happy with B's though bc science is not my strong point. just so you know, it is NOT easy and may very well be harder because you truly have to read and learn the material on your own. good luck!

Wow I can't believe the number of people that just don't get how you can learn on line. I would not take A&P I online b/c you miss out on the benefit of actually seeing the structures and organs. I took A&P II online and I thought it was much more suited to online study. I did it at Yavapai. She posts audio lecture with powerpoint to accompany it. I much prefer this to the text book driven online courses.

Edited to remove instructor since I see that must be a no-no.

if you had already taken a&p 1and2, microbiology class in a classroom setting and you are trying to retake classes to raise your grade point average..i see nothing wrong with taking science classes online.

you already have the basics down.. if your school already accepted your classes more power to that program and to you..

Ok I could have posted this comment myself!! I am trying to go back to school for BSN but EVERYTHING must be online! I work ALOT and kids, etc. DOes ANyone know of any credited school that you can take A&P II online???

Cincinnati State has A&P I and II online every quarter.

I took Oregon Institute of Technology's A&P I and II (accredited; amazing classes, great professors and challenging class with proctored exams). CSN - College of Southern Nevada denied my credit transfer and a professor there explained they will never accept any BIO classes with online labs and also because they feel there is a greater tendency to "cheat" online. Unbelievable and very upsetting that I have to take these over but I am thinking of skipping CSN period. No one could even tell this to me ahead of time even though I asked the department.
