I am dealing with WGU now and am finding them to be less than enthusiastic about helping me to get started since my enrollment counselor changed. In a year, they have not even evaluated my transcripts.

Awwww, that stinks! I think they're tightly limited by the small numbers of clinical staff they have- hopefully they will expand the program and make some room for you. The nursing school situation in CA really sucks, doesn't it? You may have to travel for school like we did.

I'm not traveling anywhere for school. It is not worth it at this point in my career. For that matter, I would have to be in dire straits to move again for a job. I've moved three times just to work before and that gets to get old along with the expenses that automatically come with moving.
