Online A&P-- does anyone accept it?

The only A&P I class available at the local community college (which is the only option for taking it now) is the online one (yes, with an online lab, God only knows exactly how this works). I am NOT happy with this, but there are just no other options. I'm going to try to find out *exactly* what they even mean by "online lab" tomorrow, but I don't have a very good feeling about it. Would any program accept this type of class to fulfill a prerequisite, or is it just better to not even waste my time? All advice appreciated.

Took both I and II online and was accepted just fine. If it's from an accredited school, it shouldn't matter.

I just finished online AP1 and got an A. The lab was easy, in my opinion, and the only disection we had to do was on a chicken leg bone. As for the course, it was self taught, my teacher not very helpful in responding to things I didn't understand. If you have time to really study the lessons and research through you tube or i tunes university for lectures and animations for the portions you don't fully grasp, you will have no problem making a good grade.

You took it at FCCJ didn't you? I took mine online there and it was the same story. The prof didn't care and was not involved at all. Everyone was furious at her in the class forum. We mostly all got A's though.....

Dallas Community College offers online A&P as well as Microbiology. That's where I plan on doing mine.

I have signed up to do A&P II online. The lecture is online but the lab is on campus. It reduces the class time on campus to one day per week instead of two. When I did A&P I it was all on campus and I had a horrible teacher. Our labs were really a waste of time as we didn't really do anything but listen to more of his lecture and look at a few models from time to time. I managed to make a B in that class but it was hard. I think that I could do well to study the lecture at home. I've also heard good things about the instructor so I'm giving it a go. The course number is the same as if it wasn't online so there should be no problem with it being accepted.
