I would wait until a couple of months before graduation. You can check out new grad programs a few months before and keep an eye out on their app periods so you can plan ahead. If you haven't already, start polishing up your resume. A good nursing program will have you working on that in class, but if not, you might talk to an instructor you respect and ask for some guidance.

Awesome advice! I did everything the RunBaby mentioned and I landed a position in my dream specialty 3 months before graduation.

Just took my last exam today. So ready for a break, but in a weird way wouldn't mind just starting up again right away to get the next (my last [emoji2]) over with. Can't quit looking at different job boards and wanting to start applying although I know it's way too early. I am sure it's been discussed before, but when is a reasonable timeframe to start submitting applications and resumes?
