I"m trying to go thur Rn school, I"m thinking I can add psy classes for all electives/extra classes and maybe one day I can get a masters. It's easy to get an associates in psy,,but for bachelors or masters,, can i simply sign up for classes without all the act/gpa politics like you run into with getting into RN program?
thanks.

Like most liberal arts programs, you don't need any specific GPA either as long as you maintain the schools bare minimum and don't get placed on academic probation. I think my old 4 year college took a 2.0 to declare a psych major.

I'm planning on eventually getting my masters in counseling I think. From what I understand, you just go through the programs. It's more at the end when you have to do your hours that you need to be accepted for those.

Simply sign up! I transferred with my AA in Business Administration and decided I wanted to pursue psychology. I took two full semesters of psych classes, still with a pre-business major (I never officially declared my business major).
