Could you contact the advising department where you went to school or some of your instructors for names of possible tutors? Go to the nursing department of the local nursing schools, SJSU, Evergreen, DeAnza, etc. and look around the bulletin boards for flyers or ask in the department office. You should be able to get a tutor that way. Good luck.

My parents want me to get one on one tutoring for LVN/LPN since I failed for the second time. Anyone in san jose, ca or in bay area that can tutor me for lvn? I don't wanna take chances anymore and this time I wanna make sure I study the material right & I get the strategies through my head. HELP!!!
HEY i m from San Jose too. I live close to San Jose state University,
I did some research on tutoring during my first/second attempt at boards and had no luck finding a tutor from my school. I even contacted few instructors personally and they offered no help and recommended nothing. But I never thought of contacting other schools like u mentioned above. I'm going to give that a try tomo...Thanks a bunch.
