OLOLC Applicants - Where ya at?

Is there anyone out there that has applied, been interviewed and fingerprinted for OLOLC/Tulane Accelerated Program? I am a new member and I have not received any responses on my 2 other OLOLC threads and i'm wondering if maybe i'm doing something wrong. I know you guys are out there!! Tell me that you too are running to the mailbox daily. Tell me that you too think of what exactly are they looking for and are you in. Somebody, anybody!!! I have worked so hard to get to this point and actually don't even have a plan B and don't want one. I do have faith, but my imagination is beginning to dance. Please respond or even tell me about a friend. HELP!!

I saw your post and yes I am an applicant also. Doesn't look like many on here applied there. At first I thought it was me and one other person who went through the interview process on allnurses. I have been interviewed and fingerprinted, the whole nine. I've been working a lot lately so I haven't been online lately. Yes, it is pure torture to go to the mailbox and find junkmail or bills!!!!! I can't wait much longer...they have until June 15th to say something. They really know how to make you sweat. I don't really have a plan B either and I'm really dependent on this. I don't want to work at my current job the rest of my life! Good luck to you, I'll try to check on here more often and I'll let you know if I received anything. Take care :)

Thank you so much for responding! I have a guy in summer school with me and he too is awaiting word. I will also let you know when I hear something. I did find out yesterday that they called a girl and informed her that she would be on an alternate list if someone does not accept. Ain't that nothin'!!

Hey you guys. I too am waiting waiting waiting. Seems like alot of people must have applied for the program. Just my speculation. I don't know. I still have heard anything either, so don't feel bad. I'm starting to get nervous as the suspense builds up. If they already put someone on the alternate list, they must have sent out rejections and alternates but not acceptances yet. I don't know. I just keep wondering and coming up with these ideas. I will let u all know if I hear anything though. My Plan B- Tka ethe MCAT and apply to medical school. Yeah, I know- What a crazy Plan B.

I get home from work and low and behold....a silver canister from OLOL. I open it and guess what? I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yee hee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called everyone I could think of to tell them the good news. Good luck to those still waiting. We'll discuss details when everyone on here who applied there gets their acceptance letter. Keep the faith

Yay! I'm in! Finally! My mom has been holding the little silver canister hostage at her house. The whole package was so cute. I'm SO excited about starting! I'm still working on my nutrition and sociology though. Will school ever be over 4 me? Can't wait to meet you guys! Congratulations Spicy and Veke!
