What is an LPN/esthetician allowed to do legally in the state of Oklahoma as far as injectables are concerned and what type of salary is reasonable for an LPN/esthetician in Oklahoma? This is such a grey area and I am unable to find the answers I need to these questions and do not want to put my licenses in jeopardy.

I have been an LPN for 36 years and am graduating from esthetician school the end of the month. I am having trouble finding the legalities of doing injectables such as Botox, etc. in our state. I have tried to clarify this "grey area" but have not been successful. I am very interested in doing these and also permanent makeup, but definitely want to know what I am allowed to do without putting my licenses on the line. I'm also in question about what my expectations should be as far as salary ranges when I am seeking employment. HELP enlighten me someone please!!

Have you consulted the board of nursing or your nurse practice act? Tried checking with your professional malpractice/liability insurance? In many states LPNs are prohibited from injecting cosmetic Botox as out of scope of practice v

My friend is partnered with a physician. From what I understand, LPNs are not permitted to provide Botox. She is an RN and can't practice without the physician.
